Is there anything comparable to #RDP for #Linux?

I can #VNC All day but VNC is kind of shit.

The big thing I'd really love to have is autoscaling displays, so I could change the resolution of resolution of the thing I want to connect to to match the screen that I'm connecting from, and to a lesser extent to be able to do things like push audio across that connection. If I could extend a remote desktop across multiple displays, well then, that's killer.
