@zpojqwfejwfhiunz And is somehow still a VAST improvement of the animation of 80's

@zpojqwfejwfhiunz Well, we are at a point where "in the 30s" can be either an optimistic prediction for the close future or some serious nostalgia. :P

@eldaking The year is 2030 and we are watching fantasmagories on a bed sheet tacked to the wall. We have to shut it off hastily when the Amazon Prime Citizen Safety patrol drones hum down the street checking for unmetered entertainment.

@zpojqwfejwfhiunz That's what I'm thinking every time someone is suggesting that I should waste my time on Rick & Morty

@zpojqwfejwfhiunz In the future, please add image descriptions to help keep Mastodon as accessible as possible!

Very true. This sums up the difference between the original Thundercats and that "Roar" thing.

The original series was a true art form made with love and a good amount of time spent on it. But "Roar" is crude and it's a lazy shortcut to make a quick buck.

We need to bring back traditional 2D animation.

@zpojqwfejwfhiunz
animation now: made faster than in the 30's (I guess...)

A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
