@probgoblin it looks like $24, which is pretty mid-range for a custom cap and shipping is $2.20 from Uniquekeycaps to where I happen to live. Alfred down in Leesburg makes them by hand and has fun with it.
Art often has more social value than practical, so these types of caps are usually put on infrequently-used keys to make the board look interesting. Naturally, typing on a hot dog as a spacebar sucks, but to some people it sucks less than having everyone see that they are NOT typing on a hot dog!
