Posts and replies

I have an RSS feed of twitter accounts. That feed has all my local elected officials, state reps, county reps, and city council.

Their posts are often times more immediate and local than national politics. Frequently they are organizing grass root events, or trying to get animals adopted, or talk about good small things that the press won't bother to print.

It has been quite refreshing.
