Why does developer tooling running on Node always seem to use 10 times as much memory and run 3 times as slow as the Python equivalent? It's not as if Python is more efficient.

@0shame I wonder if the inefficiency of the base Python interpreter is a blessing in disguise, discouraging people from building excessively complicated applications
