PDF = an exploitable format, with certain protections built into readers to block certain malicious intents, which need to be disabled to do even basic things like, oh I don't know... scrolling through the document so you can actually read it? :akillitwithfire:

@float13 Just curious, is there an alternative format that isn't Turing Complete but gives similar page description ability?

I specifically exclude PostScript from consideration because (a) it fails the above Turing Completeness test, and (b) a fully compliant interpreter is huge these days.
