When I was in the middle school, nobody was here to tell me how Firefox didn't work because I use Linux binary on BSD, or why shouldn't I recast malloc(). I was unable to understand a diode's nonlinear so Ohm's Law doesn't apply, or why would people want to do a mythical "Fourier Transform". I tried to derive the Y combinator and failed. Nobody was here to explain any of these. Instead, it took me years to find out what would be a 20-minute explanation.
