@Elizafox @TheGibson especially software developers. We always think we’re smarter than everyone and that we can engineer social systems like we do software systems, forgetting that we can’t even get those right much of the time.

Sometimes we need to listen to the most vulnerable and protect them.
Heck, if need be ask / figure out what other features should be in place first, so these users feel more safe?
Don't make anti-abuse part of your tag-line if you're going to get pissy about it anytime someone raise concerns with that angle.
