physical health (+)

Finished the last day of my "5-10 minutes of exercise every morning for a month" goal.

Personal Takeaways
- Better than coffee. I've been drinking less coffee and feeling more energetic throughout the day.

- No weight loss, no weight gain, just less weight fluctuation. I didn't change my eating habits.

- Tighter body. It's not drastic, but it is noticeable. The first couple of weeks was the biggest change.

- I'm gonna keep it up and also add more intense evening sessions every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

I should pick this up again. I used to do my own variant of Seven Minute Workout every second to third day, where I count breaths or repetitions instead of seconds for each set, but haven't for a few months now.

I ride my bike a lot and take long walks with the dog, so I'm not totally out of shape, but still.

Exercise has a very positive impact on my mental health but not right away (other than stress relief). If I haven't done it for a while, I've learnt that it can take a day or two until I notice the mood shift.

re: physical health (+)

@omni I’ve noticed an overall positive uptick in my mental health as well, but I didn’t mention it because I’m not sure how much of it is from exercising or other things I’ve been doing.

re: physical health (+)

@ryen
Could be multiple reasons. Perhaps you also manage to get other things done thanks to the exercise and of course accomplishing things make you feel better. But I think it's also thanks to getting more blood flow through and thus oxygen to your brains.

re: physical health (+)

@omni Yooo! That workout is the one I’ve been doing as well, but some days I’ll cut out push-ups/planks/triceps if my arms aren’t feeling it, or not do the step-ups/lunges if it’s my legs or knees.
