Having gone to some effort to block the morning sun, I now find myself dodging its reflection off a plastic case on my desk. The damned thing tasks me.

It feels strange to be "getting my shit together" at my age, and after a 20 year stretch of cave dwelling. But that's the way life is.

Recently I've been a largely self-managed developer, interacting with the clients directly rather than through an active PM.

Massive freakout this morning over my DAW, and I'm scrambling to set up main backup solution for that machine. Vacillating bewteen restic and duplicity. Most likely to go with the latter for now because I'm just not feeling the hack. Gimme the GUI and make it go.
I left my phone in the car last week and the heat warped the back so much as to delaminate it from the interior. It still works, so I'm loathe to spend the money to replace it. Seriously considering a layer of gorilla glue.
