What’s most exciting to me about the PinePhone is that we now have a piece of hardware on which to experiment with new and interesting mobile O/S’s without the overhead of assembling all the parts or reverse engineering a bunch of binary blobs.

Not that I don’t enjoy those things, but it makes hacking like this accessible to a much wider audience.
