@randomgeek @remotenemesis It is the worst case scenario, but rolling out the troops to DC, which requires no governor's permission, is, in my opinion, the first step to invoking the act and rolling the active military out everywhere.

Shortly before his rambling speech that may or may not have been about the Act, the military hit a completely peaceful protest with tear gas and flash bangs and chased them out of Lafayette square. Then the president spoke about deploying troops.
