It's been 5 years since my last vacation (yes, that includes holidays up until my job change in Nov). Next week I'm finally getting some time off and I really need it.

The "new job honeymoon" period has run its course and that enthusiasm is spent. The job is still awesome, I'm just not keeping up because I'm burnt out from all that came before.

I'm really looking forward to doing nothing next week. I have one day that has some plans (new glasses!) but other than that the only things on my agenda are reading and naps.
