Well the winter potato project is now done. I gave them an extra six weeks and they were looking pretty sad by the end.
End result from nine fingerling potatoes is 1900g of tatters.

They are big enough to “hill” where I bury what’s grown so far under more soil. I’m rather surprised to imagine these are just potatoes I grabbed from the cupboard and planted three weeks ago.
Wednesday update. Day 19. We’ve had quite the growth spurt in the last couple of days.
Time for my Wednesday potato patch update. Day 12. All nine seed potatoes have reached the surface and started to leaf out.
