I'm thinking to add a second protocol for information in addition to having the website, but encryption over the radio is usually illegal. What should I add? :boost_ok:

@irl is your website going to be available via radio?

The bandwidth available via radio will be low, so I think gopher is the only viable option?

@irl gopher is probably simpler, but I chose other because I also wanted to suggest offering it as a BBS.

@F1RUM @irl interesting proposal ... but this bit makes it no better than Gopher IMHO:

5. The text/gemini syntax is stripped back to just two line types: links, and plain text. Plain text lines are still wrapped by the client, as they currently are in Gemini.

The main benefit I get from writing and reading on Gemini is the improved formatting of the text, and this reads like it would remove headings, numbered lists, blockquotes, etc.

@M0YNG you can keep on using a visual markup language (such as gemini or markdown). The eye of the reader is able to understand headers, list bullet and so on... @irl

A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
