I think my 1st one was done with frontpage in 1999 and it was super terrible in many ways but I was super excited about the little Computer thingy I made :D

@Fellmoon @solene Mine was Frontpage and I uploaded it with FTP to my dad's ISP provided webspace. I could load it on the school computer which was really exciting. Don't know if anyone else ever saw it though.

I had some QuickBasic programs on there I'd made to control a 7-segment LED thing using the parallel port on the PC, and the leftover 8th pin was used to drive a transistor to switch on an electric motor.

@irl
never uploaded mine because webspace and domain cost money and I had no idea how to make that work back then and even as a 12y old hated advertising and did not want to use one of the free hosters back then...
@solene

@Fellmoon @solene the ISP gave you 5 MB of free space in a folder in a folder of some domain the ISP owned, it was just free with the Internet "connection" which back then meant you got a username and password to dialup a freephone number for a fixed price per month.

@irl
Back in the day i used one oft these "take whatever the cheapest provider is right now" tools... Boy went that south, when I felt asleep on the keyboard one night...
@solene

@irl @Fellmoon @solene heh, same but mine was made in Microsoft Publisher and it was about the Redwall books.

A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
