public health, immunocompromised and disabled, personal

I know I'm just one person, but if you're disabled, immunocompromised, chronically ill, or have a kid that can't get vaccinated --

I care about you, I hate the tone society is taking towards your health and dignity, and I'm going to keep doing everything I can, and nagging everyone else to do the same.

It's not my place to tell you that you matter, because of freaking course you do.

Nobody gets to decide this pandemic is over.

And until the FACTS and DATA reflect that it is, I'm going to be as responsible as possible. I value everyone's life. :ancomheart:

re: public health, personal MH

It's ok to feel just totally beat down by this, and if people need to ignore or mute covid-related posts, no judgment here.

I haven't loved spending 12 months in extreme isolation with an asshole roommate in a messy apartment, no money and no social life. I'm an extravert, and this whole thing has done a number on my head.

But if you're reading this -- you have survived two entire years of a global pandemic. That's amazing. Laying down the fight for multi-leveled safety right now would be foolish.

I love you and I'm thinking of you all, every day. Maybe we can hang out in person sometime.

@erosdiscordia I'd love to hang out with you some day. :) Thanks for writing this, it helps to acknowledge it to ourselves and each other every so often.
