@djsumdog Full disclosure, I'm also deeply considering Edinburgh Scotland, if that whole island ever gets their shit together. I lived there briefly back in the day, and loved it. I hear it has a good tech scene now, too.

@erosdiscordia @djsumdog Hi! djsumdog used to work with me at floss company in Wellington. Send in your CV if you move here! We also have offices in Christchurch, Auckland, and Sydney Australia. I lived in Scotland for 2 years and loved it. If they secede from UK and rejoin EU that would be awesome, but I wouldn't live there until they do; the UK is also abusing its population. I wish the USA could jettison all the yacht-owning shitbags in charge. Stay indoors, stay safe and well!

@jonathanharker @djsumdog Thanks for the reply! I'd love to hear more about your business, either the company or just general career insights.

I'm at the beginning of figuring out which direction I'd like to take things in, and knowledge of how folks do things in the countries I have my eye on is especially helpful. I'm at a point where adapting my career/training path to accommodate other countries' norms is possible.

I'm looking at a move by the end of 2021, unless *massive* changes happen in the USA (and I don't mean just a Democratic president). I'm working on a yearlong training and a few certifications in the meantime. You're right about Edi -- I'd love to see them independent. But before that happens, NZ is the first choice for me.

@djsumdog Wellington does look and sound awesome, from what I've heard.

What did you like about it?

A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
