Right now the twins’ favourite song is Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne (thanks to the movie Megamind). Proud dad here.
We just don't have iconic music like that any more.
@jonw I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels like this. Always worry because as a kid my father decided that anything after 1964 was bad and I don't want to close my mind to new music; however, I feel it's harder to find really great music like this now.
@devrandom Now is a good time to introduce them to Sabbath. 👹
@bartleby YES! I love Sabbath and I hope they will too!
@devrandom I always found it funny how everyone though Ozzy evil when those lyrics existed.
Now that I’m older, and I see people for what they often are... maybe that’s why the X-titans all hated him so much...
@thegibson As a kid growing up in a religious family/environment: KISS, Ozzy and AC/DC seemed to be the music we were taught to fear the most. "It's SATANIC!!!!" Probably only because Death Metal wasn't mainstream enough for them to know of and be afraid of. So naturally that is EXACTLY the sort of music I was drawn to.
@rafial That video is outstanding! I would love to take them on a train some day. I wish we still had passenger trains in these parts.
A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
