Windows OS network routing, help needed

TLDR;

I need to build a network config so that any traffic coming EXTERNALLY to the box gets forwarded to a different port

HOWEVER.... the SAME port on localhost needs to NOT be forwarded.

alternatively...

run a netcat listener

@banjofox Use a VM to host a traeffik instance.

Route the traffic to that from outside.

Localhost will be undisturbed.

@thegibson

That is actualyl a good idea but not sure how I would implement.

the ROOT problem right now is that the firewall ACL's are fucked, and the only thing I have "control" of is the console host.

re: Windows OS network routing, help needed

@banjofox Whatever you are doing, you'll need an offboard reverse proxy to do what you are asking... fucked ACL or not.

@thegibson

Re-phrasing.

So basically I will have to change the IP of the console, stand up a -different- VM with the old console IP so that I can properly route the two ports...
