The_Gibson @thegibson

thanks to everyone recieving the earlier transmissions for just listening to my story. It's a strange road... but I wouldn't trade it.

@thegibson i love hearing about other's strange roads, it always makes me reexamine my own and sparks new thoughts.

it's also fairly rare to come across others who understand both the Otherworld and how that connection doesn't disconnect you from the strange technical world we find ourselves in nowadays.

@pixelpaperyarn i find both informative.

Engineering the void is the same regardless of where you manipulate it.

It is all conjuration... something from nothing.

@thegibson yes!!!

to me the Internet is either part of or a sibling of the Otherworld i travel to when journeying. we go there and bring information back, preferably to benefit us and those around us. and i think it's why i feel a driving need to be of use in coding/digital spaces.

i need to get better at setting intentions and boundaries when i'm working in digital space.

@pixelpaperyarn Don't we all. :)

I get you.

it is interesting to me how diverse and weird our ranks are... are we a product of our knowledge?

I think to some degree we are.

@thegibson i think weโ€™re also a (good) product of a more secularized society.

while some really need a shared framework for comfort (they struggle without the clarified rules of religion) those of us willing to lean on gnosis & alternate paths become even more self-reliant.

from what iโ€™ve seen weโ€™re also more likely to bootstrap ourselves & dig through the muck when shit gets hard. which can lead to more compassion & understanding of cross-spiritual/cultural points of view.

@pixelpaperyarn very much so...

I know very intelligent people who cling to organized religion... I don't fault them for it... if it makes your life easier to bear, then by all means...

agreed on all points.

@thegibson iโ€™ll also say, working with Tricksters like Coyote will definitely shift your perspective in ways that most folks wonโ€™t really grok easily.

@pixelpaperyarn It's like you can see the joke/lesson coming... it's like watching a trainwreck... you can't look away, but there it is.

But manyskins teaches you to look at what's not there to understand the reality.

@thegibson -nods a lot-

i work with Loki, myself, and there are so many times i've just had to trust the trainwreck. letting everything burn to clear the way for the good stuff. the crucible and all that.

and then have a really fucking good laugh at yourself and the situation on the other side.

@pixelpaperyarn yeah... that's nerve-wracking at first isn't it?

Loki and Coyote... kinda the same guy...

@thegibson it's downright terrifying the first time it happens. especially when you get the "do you trust me?" and have to be completely open to the experience.

and yeah, as soon as i saw you mention Coyote i was like oh, i know that energy a little too well. Tricksters. ๐Ÿ˜

@pixelpaperyarn Then you look back and think of how many times you didn't even know to answer the question... when the question was there...

And then you have the same slight terror at even discussing it in the open, be cause to think it is to make it real... and possible again.

@thegibson oh yeah.

but then there's the fun, good stuff like when you realize that you've connected with someone on some strange internet thing and realize that SOMEONE is trying to get your attention by shoving your face into the stuff you're not paying attention to.

so thank you for being a conduit! lol.

@pixelpaperyarn and the same!

That's me, Avatar of the Universe!

good luck... and hey, try to keep the mischief, at the very least, looking coincidental.
