I know a few screen reader users who do this in excess. It's bad enough when a "normal" person has a long string of them in the display name, then uses fancy characters throughout a tweet. It's another thing to come across someone who should know/care doing similar things.

If you care about accessibility, then remove a few of those emojis from your username. These can become quite unwieldy when read out by screenreader software.

Psychomatic responses are STILL physiological responses.

It's wild how people will dismiss issues that are "all in your head" when that thing in your head; the place where the "you" lives, the thing that controls literally every single function within your body; is causing problems.

Mind-body dualism is a hell of a drug.

Is being a cop at the Pride March like being a confederate Civil War reenactor?

looking for archival data

@Rob_T_Firefly @seuss @snowchyld

I've been reading back issues of 2600. Among other things, I've been informed 1991 is unavailable, and coverage of 1992 is spotty.

I have been reading up archival data on hackers, hacking, and the scene pertinent to the era of 1985 to 1991.

The issues I have from 1992 and 1993 are amazing, but in autumn 1993. There is an archival project from LOD:

An archival of 1980s BBSs. Would any of you fine gentlemen know where I could obtain a copy. Seems of interest for historical research
