I'm trying out Ivy in Emacs. Its manual says, "Ivy strives for minimalism, simplicity, customizability and discoverability".

Guess what? You try stuff out from the manual and it doesn't work. Why? Because you didn't install the extensions it didn't tell you about, even though you installed it as per the instructions.

You know what those values mean? They give you an excuse to be lazy in your decisions. "Here's a turd. But you can polish it just to your liking!"

A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
