I am a Canadian who works for an American company. This has not occured to me until recently since Canada does not have PACs, but I am going to check if the company I work for donates to any GOP PACs and if they do, start to pester them not to.
Frankly, I don't think companies should donate to political campaign stuff at all, but I'll start here.
@GeoffWozniak Super PACs
@KungFuChickenNoodle Is that what I should be looking for or asking about?
@GeoffWozniak have a plan to find a new job. I suspect bugging them about this is not going to go very well for you, If you find out that they do.
@draeath For various reasons, I am not too worried about it. I do understand the risks.
Actually conservatives don't fire people based on their political ideology, because they recognize the value of a diverse set of inputs to a problem. Typically, only Democrats do stuff like trying to get somebody fired because of who they voted for. They usually do that sort of thing while talking about critical thinking and how group think is such a horrible thing. Ode to the irony of intersectionality nonsense.
A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
