My wife and I went for a walk this afternoon and we played a small part in rescuing a dog that got stuck in the lake.

The dog got away from their owner and jumped in the water to chase ducks. But it did so by going down some icy rocks. It's leash got stuck and, well, so do it.

The owner was down trying to get the dog loose and their walking partner was with another dog who was very excited about the situation. The walking partner went to help the person on the rocks and we kept the other dog calm. I also went around to another vantage point to make sure the dog owner was all right since he could have fallen (which could be very harmful) and we would have never known.

Everyone was rescued and fine, if only a little wet.

It feels good to help people out.

A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
