Biggest hurdle with Colemak has been the 'e', 'r', 'i', and 'l' keys. I often miss them and get out of any kind of rhythm I have, which is really frustrating.
May have just scaled a hurdle, though. Made my way through the drills in GNU Typist and I was missing them a lot less. I'll be repeating the drills for sure.
My biggest problem with my recent change is that I really want the ctrl key to be bottom left.
I will break this habit.
@thegibson The split keyboard has presented its own obstacles for me to deal with, not the least of which is figuring out where I should put the modifier keys.
Ctrl is on the left pinky, where God intended it to go. ;)
@thegibson What's weird is that I now *want* a Caps Lock key.
@GeoffWozniak that is what my brain wants it to be, but I am bound and determined to not.
A bunch of technomancers in the fediverse. Keep it fairly clean please. This arcology is for all who wash up upon it's digital shore.
