to comedians: you're allowed to joke about gender. queer people do it all the time.
people aren't saying you're not allowed to joke about things when they get upset.
they're telling you your jokes are bad.
@Anarkat Yes. One of my favorite queer comedy routines of all time is Elvira Kurt's "I'm a happy fellagirly!" but. It can be done. It just takes some care and thought.
